Our members results: before and after Bioniq

This study reviews the effects that Bioniq had on over 2000 people within a 6 month period. The conclusion was improved metabolic status and more normalised micronutrient status.

INTRODUCTION

The cohort of over 2000 individuals were tested initially to generate a baseline, they then had a Bioniq PRO formula composed and were informed to take this daily. The same metrics were assessed after three and six months.

MICRONUTRIENTS

Vitamin D: this was the most regularly occurring vitamin deficiency occurring across the cohort.

Vitamin D is crucial for the metabolism of phosphorus and calcium, impacts bone strength, and immune system function (it plays an active role in stimulating the differentiation of cells and is involved in T-cell activation). Vitamin D deficiency can lead to a loss of bone density, contributing to osteoporosis and increased risk of bone fractures. It most commonly occurs in people when they have inadequate sunlight exposure, an insufficient diet, as a result of some medications or due to diseases that may affect the absorption and metabolism of this particular vitamin.

In the Bioniq PRO formula, its dosage is selected individually based on the results of the primary test. Since vitamin D is fat-soluble and is stored in lipids and organic compounds, it is released slowly, providing optimal blood concentration. After 2 months of taking the formula, Bioniq PRO members showed a significant increase in their vitamin D levels in the blood.

Serum Iron: this was the most common deficiency for women within the cohort.

Serum iron is a medical laboratory test that measures the amount of circulating iron that is bound to transferrin and serum ferritin.

Ferritin low ferritin levels can be caused by poor iron absorption, an insufficient diet or in extreme cases, haemorrhaging. Consistently low ferritin can lead to an iron deficiency anaemia.

Daily intake of Bioniq PRO led to an increase in serum iron within the first three months, with serum ferritin improved by six months.

Other trace elements: vital micronutrients such as copper and zinc were shown to have reached a desired level by three months. Other micronutrients, such as selenium and cadmium had normalized by six months.

HEAVY METALS

Rectifying a micronutrient deficiency is relatively straightforward. But what do you do with an individual who has vitamin excess (eg toxicity)? This is a common problem found in individuals living in densely populated areas.

Lead: a cumulative neurotoxin that can cause significant damage to major bodily organs.

It is distributed between the brain, liver, kidneys and bones and elevated blood levels may result in one of these organs failing. Lead poisoning may include stomach pain, vomiting or convulsions. No members of the cohort described regularly experiencing any of these symptoms.

Cobalt:

Drastically elevated cobalt is a rare phenomenon, but is found more commonly in those that consume excessive amounts of Vitamin B12. It may cause severe damage to the skin, heart, thyroid and can be associated with high blood pressure.

Mercury: a toxic heavy metal which is widely dispersed in nature.

Most human exposure results from fish consumption or outdated dentistry. Among the symptoms of poisoning are a burning sensation in the mouth and respiratory difficulties. In the case of long term poisoning, mercury disrupts the lungs, kidneys and nervous system.

Lithium: an increasingly common issue as it is an associated side effect of anti-depresssant medication, where lithium is an ingredient.

An excess can cause symptoms ranging from muscle twitching, tremors and severe thirst.

Regular intake of the Bioniq PRO formula was associated with improving the removal of these heavy metals within the cohort by six month. This was attributed to the vast improvements in metabolic health attributed to micronutrient improvements and other vital biomarkers.

METABOLIC HEALTH RISK FACTORS

In this study, we also assessed the impact of Bioniq PRO on homocysteine and C-Reactive Protein (CRP). An increase in these biomarkers may result in endothelial dysfunction, atherosclerosis and other cardiovascular related diseases.

Homocysteine: an amino acid produced as a byproduct of other biochemical reactions.

Elevated blood levels are linked to genetic causes by are also attributed to an insufficient diet, particularly regarding certain B-vitamins. Elevated homocysteine is linked with osteoporosis, atherosclerosis, cardiovascular disease and increased neurodegenerative disease risk. Optimal levels of Vitamin B6 and Vitamin B12 levels can support the reduction of elevated homocysteine.

C-Reactive Protein: this cytokine associated with inflammation was reduced across the cohort.

The acute phase protein C-Reactive Protein (CRP) is an early indicator of inflammatory conditions and is associated with the risk of metabolic syndrome and cardiovascular disease. It was significantly reduced within six months of daily Bioniq PRO intake, attributed to the associated micronutrient improvements.

Both of these metabolic health markers were seen to have significantly improved within six months of daily Bioniq PRO consumption. Further positive changes were noticed in total cholesterol levels and normalizing or uric acid levels.

CONCLUSION

Significant improvements across vital biomarkers were seen within six months of those who consumed their Bioniq PRO personalized formula daily.
